“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made.”

Psalm 139:13-14

Sunday School

Sunday School is a vital part of Centenary Methodist Telugu Church designed to teach children about God, the Bible, and Christian living. It is held during Sunday Church Service at 10:30 am in the Praneeth Peter Hall.

Our Sunday School teachers provide foundational knowledge of the Bible, introducing key stories, teachings, and principles. It helps all participants understand and apply Christian values in their daily lives and serves as an environment for learning, fellowship, and spiritual growth for all our chidren. It also helps children by teaching them how to pray, worship, and trust God and encourages a deeper personal relationship with God.

Some of Sunday School programs help develop leadership skills by involving older youth in teaching or mentoring younger children and inspires young people to take active roles in the church community.

Lessons are age-appropriate and often include Bible stories, memory verses, and practical life applications. Our teachers use creative methods like storytelling, crafts, games, and role-playing to make learning engaging.

Singing worship songs and group prayers help children develop a habit of worship and gratitude and encourage them to express their thoughts and feelings to God.
Some of the special programs include projects like helping the less fortunate, writing cards for missionaries, or collecting donations and teaches children about serving others and sharing God’s love.

Sunday School is not just a program—it’s a ministry that lays the groundwork for a lifelong relationship with God. It shapes hearts, nurtures faith, and builds a community of believers dedicated to living out God’s love.
